The concept for this wallpaper actually started with a drawing of a pair of Papal Keys on MS Paint. I wanted a catchy statement, something that is doctrinally correct and something that is bite-size at the same time. You know, like material fit for a poster. The text was done on PowerPoint 2010. You may recognise this as the background to my Twitter page.
The idea behind the statement, "There's a victory parade at the start of every Mass. (We kid you not.)" comes from one of the Catholicism DVD episodes — the one with Fr Robert Barron speaking in them — about the significance of the cross, and how there is a crucifer (cross-bearer) at every High Mass at least. People have been parading the cross as a victory sign and a sign of defiance following Christ's death on the cross, they were like, "Oh, you think you can threaten us with this? Well we ain't afraid of this, now come and get some!" I don't know which episode this was, so if anyone can refresh me, I'll appreciate it!
