Project Chaplaincy: The Morning Call

This is a re-imagining of one of the scenes for Project Chaplaincy (the bullet hell shooter in progress)... a scene which I had previously drawn but never put on DeviantArt. I did this as a test of sorts, to see whether Project Chaplaincy's cutscene images would work with the new art style I had come up with over the last few days. Seems that it's working fine... for now.

So, about this scene:
After protagonist Fr Marcus Cohen wakes up to BBC4 news reports of the Dark Scourge rampaging England, he is shocked and calls one of his closest friends -- Fr Pascal Millhouse -- to ask if what he hears is actually happening. Fr Millhouse, living in Hertford (the county town of Hertfordshire), says yes, and urges Fr Cohen to investigate the situation, ideally with a team of competent young blood. Fr Cohen is worried, because he knows priests cannot take up arms at any cost. Fr Millhouse then reminds Fr Cohen that the lot of them have an even more powerful weapon: prayer.

Additional notes about this scene:

This scene was originally called "The Courtesy Call", but was renamed to avoid references to Portal 2.
The purple stole and "Quarant'ore" (Forty Hours [Devotion]) are references to the season of Lent.
