This is the large version of an icon, [link] — which I submitted to the icon contest for
. They've been looking for a new icon for quite some time now, and what you see in their icon is but a placeholder.
The style follows that of the Tales series — except that I added the stereotypical big eyes and cute animé faces. My longstanding idea was that I'd have an animé character bask in the sun on a very bright day. And as you can see, my work in progress ([link]), though too large, was what I initially had in mind. Well, at least now, it's a happy face and happy big eyes.
The Japanese text reads Shiawasena anime aato, which literally means "Happy Anime Art".
Done while listening to [link] Taiko no Tatsujin: Go! Go! Godaime! on repeat.
